Who knows what or who The Saturdays are? On the odd occasion I flick through a ladies magazine there is always the usual line up of 'celebs' on a night out. It will be the usual; Lilly Allen, Fearne Cotton, Holly Willoughby etc... and one of The Saturdays. I know its one of The Saturdays as it always says so after their name eg: Frankie from The Saturdays. Are these women celebrities and if they are who knows as you always have to be told who they are!

  1. Happy birthday to you my darling curmudgeon. I love you with every beat of my heart. xo

  2. Don't even bother flicking (as it were) Happy Birthday!

  3. Happy Birthday Chopper....may all your apple pies have raisins in :-)

    C x

Ps. Once saw Frankie from the Saturday's on Never Mind the Buzzcocks (Yes, had to be told who she was!)....the phrase 'nice but dim' sprung to mind!

  4. Not sure about The Saturdays. Hopefully they are better than strange cult that make a lot of noise on the Sabbath - the "I scream Sundays".

Hope you've had a great birthday!

  5. Happy Birthday, Chopper!

I have no clue as to who those women are.

Are you going to write here now?

  6. DJ; Thanks, it's a good job birthdays are only once a year!!

Megan; I try to avoid flicking but I get so tempted!

Carol; I had a fruit cake for my birthday with loads of sultanas!

Troy; Strange you should mention the sabbath as I got Ozzy Osbourne's biography for my birthday!

Nitebyrd; Hi, I have no idea who they are either or for how long I'll be fiddling around on here. A change is as good as a rest so they say.

  7. At least two of the Saturdays used to be in 'S Club Juniors' (that incredibly successful group that Simon Fuller manufactured when the Spice Girls had shown him the door, and even S Club Seven had outgrown him.)
And one of those two used to look after Nev the Bear on Kids Saturday morning TV.
That's only slightly more well know than the bloke who has his hand up Basil Brush's arse!
